abcCorrector is compatible with Office Word 2007, 2010, 2013 or 2016.
If the version is compatible, reinstall Microsoft® Word to restore the default settings and try installing abcCorrector again

Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs > abcCorrector.

Access the "File" tab —> Click on "Options".

Click on "Extensions" —> go to the "Manage" list
Select "Inactive elements" —> click on "Go…".
Select the inactive abcCorrector elements —> click on "Activate".

Go to the "Manage" list —> Select "COM Extensions" —> click on "Go…".
Select the abcCorrector extensions —> Click on "Accept".
Restart Word.
